As seen in NORTH AMERICA: No Place to Hide, wolves often prey on young bison because they are easier targets than adult bison. Write an essay from the wolf’s point of view. Answer the following questions in your writing: Why does the wolf want to kill the bison? During what time of year does this hunt occur? Does the wolf belong to a pack? What will happen to the wolf if it does not capture its prey?
